When I was ~7 years old, I had the pleasure to learn karate (or attempt to) from Master Carlos, owner of Kick Connection.? Fast forward almost 30 years, and our paths crossed again, but this time it was helping Master Carlos with a new location to move Kick Connection to Severna Park Gateway Village in Millersville. Needless to say, Carlos hasn’t aged a day, and his business is as robust as ever. It’s truly awesome to re-meet a teacher like Carlos, who has impacted countless children and adults in our area, but this time in another phase of life.
